JeremyAsheTattooing for over a decade beginning in 1996, Orlando native Jeremy Ashe never had a formal apprenticeship in his art bu honed his craft at three well-renowned studios: Bad Dog Productions in Orlanod, Sacred Heart in Atlanta and Big Brain Productions in Omaha before striking out on his own to acheive his dream of owning his own shop. In 2003 with very little capital but a whole lot of energy, Jeremy and a group of dedicated friends opened Built 4 Speed Tattoo Shop, Art Gallery and Music Venue .

Even though Jeremy's one-of-a-kind tattoo studio featured resident and visiting artists, live music, piercing and a local art gallery, Jeremy had to close the doors on B4S's first incarnation on Clay Street in Winter Park, FL just a few short years after it opened. Down but not out, Jeremy traveled between Bermuda and Orlando for nearly a year guest-spotting on the island while simultaneously moving his shop to its next location on Hillside Ave in Orlando. After selling the Hillside Ave. location to close friend and fellow tattoo artist, Brett J Barr, Jeremy and his crew opend B4S in Downtown Orlando for its third life in fall 2007. Although B4S scaled back the multi-facets of the original B4S, the custom tattooing, body piercing and local art gallery are still available, stylistically up-to-date and of the highest caliber.

Jeremy maybe a savvy businessman, but he will always be an artist fits. His influences include tattoo artists Tom DePriest, Ed Madigan, Will Anders and Kore Flatmo. His specialities include: large color, cover-ups, new school and Asian designs.

Vinny Burkhart - view gallery

VinnyBurkhartWith more than ten solid years in the industry, the name Vinny Burkhart is infamous for bad-ass tattoos and artwork. Another Orlando native, Vinny received his degree in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale before hitting the same Orlando tattoo circuit as Jeremy. Vinny, like other artists B4S, started drawing at a very young age and followed it through for his entire life by being a stellar tattoo artist performing best with pin-ups and portraits as well as an artist specializing in water color, airbrush and acrylic. After working in Orlando for a few years, Vinny started to travel and work national conventions learning new skills and gaining recognition the entire time by winning numerous awards. His most recent award came from Boston 2007 where he won "Best Tattoo of the Day." Don't believe us? Swing by the shop one day soon and check out his trophy display proving his metal.

Pete Triolo - view gallery

PeteTrioloFor as long as Pete Triolo can remember, he wanted to be tattooed and he enjoyed to draw. Yet another Orlando native, Pete tried careers as both mechanic and a gun store manager before approaching Jeremy Ashe about apprenticing at Built 4 Speed. Jeremy took Pete under his wing for a year and half before unleashing Pete to tattoo on his own. That was nearly a year ago and Pete has been busy tattooing the public at large ever since. Pete's laidback personality doesn't match him with a favorite style offering clients a, "I'll try anything" attitude. When Pete isn't at the shop, he enjoys drawing flash and comics as well as recently taking up mixed-media painting.
